Jennifer A. Gay is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and owner of ReTHink Therapy, PLLC, in Dallas, Texas. In that role, Jennifer helps individuals, couples, and families, deal with a diverse array of Mental Health issues, including anxiety, depression, infidelity, and gender dysphoria. She also provides support for LGBTQ+ families to help them navigate the waters after their family member has come out to them as gay, lesbian, or transgender. Jennifer’s goal when doing this work is to help families gain a better understanding of their child’s needs and go from a place of tolerance to acceptance. Jennifer is the recipient of the President’s Excellence in Gender Equity Award from the Gender Equity Council at Texas Tech University (2018) for her work as the Allies Coordinator for the Texas Tech University System educating faculty, staff, and students about LGBTQ+ issues on campus and facilitating Allies Trainings throughout the University as well as at other universities across Texas. Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Development and Family Studies and received her Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Tech University.
Her term on the Board expires June 13, 2023.
